Matt being gone really makes my stomach turn. We used to have so much fun playing in little league baseball together.. His family members were coaches and great mentors at such young ages for us. They were all like big brothers I never had. I remember one basebal game when Matt had struck out and he started crying but tried to hide it. I consoled him immediately as I knew what it was like to be a sensitive kid. That same game we both ended up homering and getting a double for the win so all was well after that and of course some winning ice cream helped too! God bless you Matt and your family...
I know this is extremely late but Mat you will always be my first love. You will always be in my heart. We dated off and on through our teens and early 20s and I will never forget those days. I miss you.
